Adam Carriere grew up in Nelson, B.C. where he became captivated with underground hip hop at an early age. Influenced by artists such as Necro, Kool Keith, Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Cunnin Lynguists, Jedi Mind Tricks, Wu Tang and countless more. It didn’t take long for him and his group of friends to start trying their hands at almost every element of hip hop.
When he first started freestyling he went by the alias “AdamC” until he got tired of freestyling to random instrumentals and started making beats under the name “INVECTRUM” in 2002.
By High school his circle of friends were either graffiti artists, DJs, beatboxers or MCs, however, Invectrum excelled at production. After high school he moved to Red Deer, Alberta where he honed his craft and continued to improve over the years. Invectrum got signed to Goldminded Records in 2012 and has been working on a solo album and selling beats ever since.
